Design Party at Kirkland’s

Our design party at Kirkland’s Open House last weekend was a blast! We arrived with a well thought out plan to do a presentation at the top of each hour, with lots of fun announcements, etc. So guess what we discovered when we arrived? No PA system!

I thought every store had a minimal PA system; you know, an “Attention K-Mart Shoppers” kind of thing. Well, turns out it aint necessarily so. We had to revamp our plans quickly.

But it turned out great anyway. We set up a table and ran our before-and-after photos on a continuous loop, attracting loads of  Kirkland’s shoppers. They are a dedicated bunch! They love Kirkland’s and they love looking for just the right thing to give their homes a pulled-together look.

Here’s a few of our favorite pieces now available at Kirkland’s:

We don’t recommend using them all together like this — too matchy, matchy. But I love the mirror with a wood console or in a dining room, the sconces hung on either side of a large piece of art, or this colorful console paired with a black wrought iron mirror or other piece you may already have.

And that’s how we Metamorefix!
